Original Album Cover Design
Objectives: The objective of this project was to create a unique album cover using duotones and textures to create depth and interest.
Process: I explored the use of duotones to create a striking visual impact that would catch the eye. By selecting complementary colour schemes, I was able to evoke specific emotions that aligned with the music's themes. To add depth and interest, I incorporated various textures, layering them strategically to provide a tactile quality that draws the viewer in. This process not only enhanced the overall aesthetic but also allowed the cover to tell a story that complements the sound of the album.
Materials/Mediums Used: I used Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Fresco.
